Site Reliability Engineer – Production Infrastructure

About the role

Join a leading global quantitative trading firm as a Site Reliability Engineer focused on production infrastructure. You will work in a hybrid Systems Engineer/Software Developer capacity, helping to design, build, and operate low‑latency, high‑throughput systems that power the firm’s trading operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement colocation solutions and optimise exchange connectivity.
• Build and maintain world‑class low‑latency wide‑area networks.
• Develop streaming monitoring tools and automation frameworks.
• Maintain configuration management and oversee application deployment lifecycles.
• Debug low‑level performance issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Python and/or Go.
• Strong Linux expertise and solid foundation in data structures & algorithms.
• Background in metrics, monitoring, or statistics.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to address reliability challenges in large‑scale infrastructure.
• Strategic thinking and maturity in handling complex problems across people, technology, and processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
