Site Supervisor – Tunnel/Shaft/Pipe Jacking (Hinkley Point)

About the role

The Joseph Gallagher Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead tunnelling, shaft and pipe‑jacking works at the Hinkley Point project. You will be responsible for maintaining progress, safety and quality while supporting the engineering team on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain progress and safety standards throughout the works.
• Assist and support engineers to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and in line with regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise site workers, allocating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure work is completed according to the main contractor programme and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports and progress updates.

Required profile

• Demonstrated tunnelling and shaft experience.
• Previous experience as a Tunnelling Supervisor.
• SMSTS Gold Card – Supervisor Level 3.
• Current First Aid certification.

Required skills

• SMSTS Gold Card certification.
• First Aid certification.
