Software Delivery Manager

About the role

The Software Delivery Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of software products and platforms for UKTV, supporting broadcast, media, digital and operational technology capabilities. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads and business stakeholders, the role ensures high‑quality solutions are delivered efficiently and in line with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Agile Scrum teams, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Translate product roadmaps into executable delivery plans, manage sprint and release schedules, and report progress, risks and dependencies.
• Coach teams in Agile best practices, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement using data‑driven metrics.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicate delivery status to senior leaders, and manage expectations around scope and timelines.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering software products in Agile Scrum environments, managing multiple delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to handle risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
• Experience in broadcasting, media or streaming organisations is desirable.

Required skills

• JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, GitHub and CI/CD platforms.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud‑native platform delivery.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
