Software Engineer – C++, Python, Cloud & Engineering Platform

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Software Engineer to join our fast‑growing advanced manufacturing business located just outside Oxford. You will work in a highly technical, collaborative environment, building robust, scalable software that powers our engineering platform and supports international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modular software components using C++, C# and Python.
• Integrate third‑party tools, APIs and simulation software into a secure cloud environment.
• Automate workflows and support scalable infrastructure with containerisation technologies.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, design patterns and agile development practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex requirements into production‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and enthusiasm for tackling technical challenges.
• Proven experience developing complex software systems or platforms.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
