Software Engineer – Connectivity (Prime Brokerage Platform)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Software Engineer to lead connectivity initiatives for a global prime brokerage and financing platform. The role focuses on integrating new exchanges, building robust API connections and automating the onboarding process to support both traditional and digital asset trading.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of new exchanges into the trading platform, ensuring full connectivity and functional parity.
• Design, develop and maintain API connections with exchanges, handling authentication, data normalization and error handling.
• Create custom tools and scripts to automate exchange onboarding and monitoring.
• Test and validate order execution, order‑book management and trade settlement for each integration.
• Monitor exchange API performance, diagnose issues and implement optimisations to improve trading efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, compliance officers and fellow developers on integration projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance‑technology environments.
• Proven track record working with exchange APIs, order execution and market‑data workflows.
• Hands‑on experience integrating digital‑asset exchanges into trading platforms.
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.
