Software Engineer

About the role

Software Engineers at Axle build the core infrastructure that connects distributed energy devices, orchestrates them, and enables participation in electricity markets. This generalist role spans product engineering, devops, and data engineering, with direct interaction with clients and market operators.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services in Python.
• Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using React.
• Containerise applications with Docker and manage deployments on GCP.
• Collaborate with clients to gather feedback and iterate on product features.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Experience communicating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to own end‑to‑end product delivery.
