Software Engineer – TypeScript, Node.js & React

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain modern web applications for our clients. You will work closely with product and design teams to deliver accessible, high‑performance digital experiences while leading a small group of web engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web platforms using TypeScript, Next.js, React and related technologies.
• Create reusable components, patterns and a scalable design system.
• Contribute to APIs, integrations, orchestration layers and shared platform services.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements and prototypes into robust solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and safe release practices.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with TypeScript, Next.js, React and Storybook.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable web architecture.
• Experience working across APIs, integrations and middle‑tier services.
• Good understanding of web performance, accessibility and SEO fundamentals.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

What we offer

• Permanent contract with a salary range of £75,000‑£90,000 per year.
• Hybrid work model – three days per week in our central London office.
