Software Engineering Manager – Agentic Engineering

About the role

As an Engineering Manager on Coder’s Agentic Engineering team, you will lead a group of engineers building the core systems that power the company’s agentic development experience. You’ll shape technical direction, grow the team, and ensure reliable, high‑performance solutions for real development environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a software engineering team focused on agent harness, integrations, and developer workflows.
• Set technical direction, contribute to architecture, and make implementation decisions across the stack.
• Improve reliability, performance, and operability of agentic systems.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate agent capabilities into developer‑friendly experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and scaling software engineering teams.
• Strong hands‑on background with Go and experience building systems around large language models and agentic workflows.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
