About the role

We are seeking a Solicitor of any experience level to join our market‑leading team in Edinburgh. The role is hybrid, offering 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and focuses on professional discipline and clinical defence work.

Key responsibilities

Handle all stages of pre‑litigation and litigated clinical negligence claims.
Represent regulated professionals such as doctors, dentists and teachers in referrals to their professional regulators and affiliated organisations.
Participate throughout each stage of the referral process for cases.

Required profile

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Proven ability to manage a varied caseload in a busy office environment.
Calm and confident approach when dealing with clients in highly stressful circumstances.
Proactive commitment to business development.
