Solution Architect / Delivery Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Delivery Lead to own the design and delivery of our Data Product Catalogue (DPC) platform. You will shape the target architecture, drive governance, and ensure seamless integration with enterprise services in a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce the High‑Level Design (HLD) for the DPC solution in the target development environment.
• Define target architecture for application hosting, PostgreSQL & Neo4j connectivity, secrets management and platform integrations, aligned with GDP standards.
• Lead Design Authority (DA) governance reviews and secure approvals.
• Assess the existing DPC codebase and deployment artefacts, and devise a refactoring strategy to replace local components with enterprise services.
• Design integration with enterprise metadata and lineage services.
• Manage the end‑to‑end delivery plan across design, build, integration and deployment phases.
• Coordinate with the platform team on environment setup and governance processes.

Required profile

• Enterprise solution architecture experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture, Terraform/IaC and API‑based integration patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, Neo4j and data‑mesh / metadata management concepts.
• Proven ability to present to Design Authority or governance boards.
• Solid delivery/project‑management background on enterprise data or platform engineering programmes.
• Experience working within banking governance frameworks (Design Authority, release management).
• Excellent stakeholder management across vendor and client technology teams.
