Solution Architect

About the role

As a Solution Architect you will act as the bridge between our Enterprise ERP ecosystem and modern engineering platforms, covering end‑to‑end value chains for HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement and Gross‑to‑Net. You will provide technical thought leadership, selecting the right tool—whether a custom cloud‑native app, SAP BTP extension, AI‑driven automation or best‑of‑breed SaaS—to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Guide build‑versus‑buy decisions across ERP, cloud (GCP/Azure) and third‑party SaaS solutions.
• Own and evolve architectural blueprints, influencing investments and reducing technical debt.
• Design scalable AI and automation patterns, integrating Generative AI and LLMs while ensuring data privacy, SOX compliance and security.
• Collaborate with ERP domain architects to treat the ERP as a set of composable services accessed via standard APIs and events.
• Partner with Principal Engineers to translate high‑level designs into ready‑to‑build specifications.
• Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap for product groups, supporting pre‑discovery activities and hiring of key technical roles.
• Engage senior business stakeholders to map technical decisions to business value and manage relationships with integrators and vendors.

• Proven track record delivering complex integrations in hybrid technology landscapes.
