Solution Architect - Retail, Digital, Marketplace

About the role

We are seeking a senior Solution Architect with deep retail experience to lead the design and re‑architecture of our pricing domain and other cross‑channel initiatives. The role focuses on delivering high‑level designs for applications, platforms, marketplaces, store operations and customer personalisation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑level solution designs and architecture artefacts.
• Make product selection recommendations and obtain governance approval.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept activities with vendors during procurement.
• Collaborate with multi‑national teams to ensure design acceptance.
• Support multiple projects across retail, digital and marketplace channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering solutions for retail businesses across several domains and channels.
• Strong stakeholder management, able to communicate complex ideas simply.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and handling uncertain requirements.
• Experience working in organisations operating in multiple countries.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS platforms and cloud patterns.
• Understanding of MACH principles.
• Expertise in solution design, systems integration and architecture governance.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy standards and compliance for customer data.
