Solution Engineer - Emerging Enterprise FS

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a Solution Engineer to serve the UK market, helping customers solve complex data challenges and guiding them through evaluation, proof‑of‑concept and adoption of Snowflake’s platform. The role works closely with sales teams and channel partners to position Snowflake as the preferred solution.

Key responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands‑on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proof‑of‑concepts and implementation.
• Create and develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
• Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology and present roadmap features to customers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and messaging.
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events and partner with ecosystem members on joint architectures.

Required profile

• Solution engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or related fields such as analytics, data science or data engineering.
• Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and the ability to solve customer‑specific business problems using Snowflake.
