Sourcing Analyst – Supply Chain Optimization

About the role

We are seeking a driven Sourcing Analyst to join a global brand headquartered in Birmingham. In this hybrid role you will analyse production capacity, transport costs, product specifications and customer requirements to pinpoint the most cost‑effective sources of supply, supporting commercial, operations and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse production capacity, transport costs and product specifications to identify optimal supply sources.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations and supply‑chain teams to influence sourcing decisions.
• Build and maintain analytical reports and dashboards that drive financial impact.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to support business decisions.
• Work on a hybrid schedule, attending the Birmingham office two days per week.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an analyst role, preferably within supply‑chain planning, operations analysis or business analysis.
• Strong commercial awareness and a passion for solving optimisation problems with data.
• Proven track record of working with data, building reports and influencing decisions.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with business‑intelligence tools.

• Salary £40,000‑£50,000 per year, dependent on experience, plus bonus.
