About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen in Weymouth. You will work alongside a supportive Head Chef to deliver high‑quality, freshly prepared dishes that reflect our branded menu. This permanent, onsite position offers a clear pathway for career progression within one of the UK’s leading pub groups.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily kitchen targets and maintain high standards of food quality.
• Train, motivate and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
• Assist the Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Manage chefs and wider kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations.
• Enforce health, hygiene and safety regulations throughout the kitchen.
• Execute the branded menu consistently across all service periods.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering premium food in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confident leader with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
• Strong understanding of health and hygiene standards.
• Experience working with a branded menu and standardised recipes.
