About the role

Join the kitchen team at the Old Rooms Inn in Weymouth and help deliver high‑quality, tasty dishes in a fast‑paced pub environment. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food that meets the brand’s standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present meals according to specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain hygiene and safety regulations throughout the kitchen.
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure timely service.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new products, menu changes and promotions.

Required profile

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and support the team when needed.
• A passion for delivering tasty, well‑presented meals consistently.
• Willingness to learn new skills and assist in different kitchen areas.
• Good spoken and written English to understand allergen controls.

Required skills

• Food preparation, cooking and plating techniques.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and safety procedures.
• Effective communication within a kitchen team.
• Awareness of menu items, promotions and new products.
