Spa Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests and members at the Aqua Club and Headland Spa. You will welcome visitors, manage bookings and ensure a personalised, memorable experience in our coastal leisure complex.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check‑in guests at both the Aqua Club and Headland Spa reception desks with a warm, courteous manner.
• Handle telephone enquiries, email reservations and in‑person bookings using the spa management system.
• Provide information on spa facilities, treatments, products and promote additional services.
• Process payments, issue receipts and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Coordinate with the spa, restaurant and hotel teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a tidy, organized reception area and keep promotional material up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a leisure, spa or hotel reception environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine hospitality mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a busy, relaxed coastal setting.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate across departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience using spa/hotel booking software such as Maestro (training will be provided).
