Specialist Hygiene Technician – Croydon

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join its Croydon branch, serving Central London and surrounding areas. You will work independently, managing your own schedule while delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to diverse customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reactive hygiene cleaning services, including bio‑hazard, flood damage, infection control, and crime‑scene clean‑up.
• Perform specialised tasks such as sharps removal, prison cell cleaning, high‑level and silo cleaning.
• Work as part of an on‑call rota, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Offer expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work flexible patterns.
• Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a DBS check where required.
