Specialist Hygiene Technician – Croydon

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our Croydon team, covering South West and South East London. The role involves delivering a wide range of hygiene and specialised cleaning services to commercial and public premises, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to reactive cleaning requests across diverse environments, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Work as part of an on‑call rota to ensure timely service delivery.
• Provide expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image.
• Perform biohazard cleaning, flood water damage cleanup, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime scene cleaning, factory cleaning, high‑level and silo cleaning.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and support business needs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Potential to pass a DBS check.
