Staff Fullstack Data Analyst (Commercial Analytics)

About the role

Growth Intelligence owns the commercial data layer that powers Pleo’s go‑to‑market engine, supporting acquisition, retention, propensity modelling and customer health. As a Staff Fullstack Data Analyst you will be the senior technical voice for commercial analytics, setting architectural direction, defining metric contracts and mentoring the analytics team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architectural direction of the analytics layer for acquisition, onboarding, growth and retention, making systemic decisions about model structure and governance.
• Identify and resolve upstream data quality issues, treating gaps as governance problems and driving organisation‑wide fixes.
• Define canonical GTM metric definitions in the semantic layer in partnership with Data Services & Governance.
• Partner with senior commercial leadership to shape high‑impact analytical questions and lead in‑depth analyses of customer behaviour and revenue outcomes.
• Design and govern experimentation frameworks ensuring statistical rigour and scalable methodology.
• Build self‑serve and AI‑ready analytics assets that are structured, documented and reliable for business users and conversational tools.
• Mentor analysts through code reviews, design discussions and knowledge‑sharing to raise the team’s analytical craft.

Required profile

• Prior experience at Staff or Lead level in data analytics or analytics engineering within a fast‑paced SaaS organisation.
• Strong commercial analytics background with deep understanding of GTM metrics, customer lifecycle economics and revenue impact.
• Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders, shape ambiguous business questions and communicate risk and trade‑offs clearly.
• Track record of mentoring analysts and contributing to engineering and analytical standards across a data community.
