Staff Nurse – CAMHS Service (Waterlooville, Havant)

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a qualified Registered Nurse to join a modern CAMHS service supporting young people aged 12‑17 with eating disorders in the Waterlooville/Havant area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care for patients with personality disorders and autistic spectrum disorder, addressing complex needs and behaviours.
• Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement.
• Follow all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, promoting ethical practice.
• Contribute to patient assessments, compile care plans, and monitor progress.
• Mentor and support student nurses and other team members.
• Promote professional development within the team.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid NMC PIN.
• Completed preceptorship with evidence.
• Experience working within CAMHS.
• Strong team‑working skills, high self‑motivation and a flexible approach.
• Positive, caring and compassionate attitude.
• Commitment to high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
