About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly Intensive Care Unit team at Whipps Cross Hospital. The role is for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse committed to delivering high‑quality care to critically ill patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective and compassionate care to patients requiring intensive care and high‑dependency support.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient management.
• Recognise and respond promptly to deteriorating patients.
• Support patients and families throughout their critical care journey.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
• Recent acute care experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Ability to assess and monitor critically ill patients.
• Knowledge of intensive care procedures and equipment.
• Effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
