Staff Nurse – Outpatients (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a Staff Nurse to join its Outpatients team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based at Fulwood Hall Hospital, you will work 37.5 hours per week delivering pre‑assessment and outpatient care in a patient‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical assessments and nursing care to outpatients and pre‑assessment patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient pathways.
• Document care accurately and adhere to Ramsay’s “Speaking Up for Safety” standards.
• Support patients throughout their visit, offering information and emotional reassurance.
• Maintain a clean and well‑stocked clinical environment.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Previous experience working in an outpatient department.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Warm, considerate and empathetic character.
