Staff Product Manager – Platform

About the role

Preply is looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of platform capabilities that reduce developer friction, improve reliability and accelerate delivery speed. You will shape the “platform as a product” vision at agent‑scale, working closely with engineering teams across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product charters for platform products, defining users, problem statements, non‑goals and success metrics.
• Define and own the vision, roadmap and OKRs for core platform capabilities.
• Identify, prioritize and address developer pain points using qualitative and quantitative signals.
• Translate platform needs into clear product requirements and partner with engineering to evaluate technical trade‑offs.
• Drive adoption of platform standards, track metrics such as developer productivity, reliability and cost efficiency, and align investments with growth goals.

Required profile

• Strong product thinking combined with technical literacy in software engineering, developer tooling or systems.
• Experience delivering highly technical internal products such as platforms, tooling or infrastructure.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, challenge priorities and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Bias for leverage, defaults and standards, believing that standardisation unlocks creativity.
