Staff Talent Sourcer - UK & EU

About the role

Shield AI is seeking a Staff Talent Sourcer to lead talent discovery across the EU, supporting aerospace, autonomy, AI, and advanced hardware teams. The role partners with recruiters and hiring leaders to build data‑driven sourcing strategies and develop AI‑enhanced pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to define target profiles and design sourcing strategies for engineering, AI/ML, product, and corporate functions across EU.
• Map the EU talent market, creating detailed talent landscapes, identifying hidden pools, competitor insights, and emerging trends.
• Generate and engage candidates using advanced Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, HireEZ, GitHub, and niche industry networks.
• Build and nurture long‑term pipelines of passive and hard‑to‑find talent to enable just‑in‑time hiring.
• Design and continuously improve AI‑powered sourcing workflows, automation tools, and market intelligence reports.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sourcing experience supporting multiple EU markets and a broad range of functions.
• Proven track record in market mapping, competitive intelligence, and generating candidates for highly specialized roles.
• Consultative partnership experience with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of EU talent ecosystems, regional hubs, and mobility considerations.

Required skills

• Advanced Boolean search techniques.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, and GitHub.
• Experience building AI‑powered sourcing workflows and automation.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
