Staffing and Training Coordinator – Hospital Administrator

About the role

Join Cygnet Bury Forestwood as a Staffing and Training Coordinator, supporting the smooth operation of our CAMHS Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure services. You will work 40 hours per week on‑site, ensuring staffing levels are met and training processes run efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Populate staffing sheets from ward rotas to forecast staffing deficits.
• Use and maintain the Temployer system to allocate shifts, balancing skill mix and gender requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with Ward Managers, CSMs and senior management regarding staffing needs.
• Build and manage relationships with external agencies, booking agency staff and addressing performance issues.
• Reconcile agency hours against ward timesheets, eCensus data and approve shifts in Temployer.
• Produce daily staffing sheets for reception, covering deficits such as escorts, enhanced observation levels and leave.
• Assist various departments by providing staffing information and support as required.

Required profile

• Highly organised with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams.
• Experience in staffing or administrative roles within a healthcare setting is desirable.
