Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Building Services

About the role

We are looking for a Static Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Service & Maintenance team in Hoddesdon. The role involves performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs and call‑outs on a range of building services installations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out PPM visits and routine electrical maintenance on static plant.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across various buildings.
• Respond to on‑call emergencies and provide after‑hours support.
• Assist fellow engineers on site and support fabric maintenance tasks.
• Work on M&E (mechanical & electrical) projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience repairing electrical systems in commercial or industrial buildings (essential).
• Solid electrical background with strong health‑and‑safety knowledge (essential).
• CRB checked (essential).
• C&G or NVQ Level 2 qualification (desirable).
• Experience in building services, M&E, construction or facilities management is advantageous.

What we offer

• Basic salary up to £40,000 per annum (OTE up to £42,000).
