Store Assistant – Toolstation Pontypool

About the role

A Toolstation in Pontypool is looking for a Store Assistant on a permanent part-time basis, working 15 hours per week at £12.87 per hour. Candidates should live locally and be able to commute easily, as the store is open from 7 AM to 8 PM. No retail experience is needed; the employer will teach everything else.

Key responsibilities

• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean and prepare orders
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and help customers find what they need for their projects
• Sell the benefits of the Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up
• Work hard and positively, with flexibility to cover early starts and late finishes

Required profile

• Lives locally and can commute to the store
• Reliable, flexible and committed to supporting customers and colleagues
• Friendly, enthusiastic and able to work in hot summers and cold winters
