Store Manager

About the role

Toolstation is looking for an enthusiastic Store Manager to lead our Abingdon branch. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while overseeing all store operations from opening to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver great service and ensure the team provides a high‑quality customer experience.
• Check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, organised store.
• Coach, motivate and engage staff, fostering a positive, feedback‑driven culture.
• Build relationships with customers, ensuring they leave with everything they need.
• Maintain product availability, high branch standards and a fun working environment.

Required profile

• Proven track record of developing high‑performing retail teams.
• Strong leadership, resilience and determination to achieve results.
• Flexibility to work early starts and late finishes as the store operates 7 am‑8 pm.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for teamwork.
• Ability to “muck in” and get hands‑dirty when needed.
