Store Manager

About the role

As Store Manager you will lead the Sheffield store, delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and overseeing daily operations in a friendly, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure every visitor receives an exceptional Bird & Blend tea experience and foster a customer‑focused culture.
• Drive the team to meet sales targets and KPIs, implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Lead, motivate and coach staff, providing feedback and development opportunities.
• Recruit, induct, train and develop a high‑performing team.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, staff rotas and daily store operations.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and manage stock efficiently, including regular stock takes.
• Promote sustainability goals and lead the team in achieving impact targets.
• Organise and host store events, sampling activities and community outreach to increase footfall.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within a customer‑service environment.
• Proven sales ability and a track record of meeting commercial outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Passion for the product and ability to act as a brand ambassador.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including empathy and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
