Store Manager – New Fashion Retail Store

About the role

Join an exciting, trend‑led fashion retailer as the Store Manager for a brand‑new store in Milton Keynes. You will own the launch from day one, shaping the store’s culture, performance and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of all store operations during the opening phase and set high standards from day one.
• Recruit, build and lead a high‑performing team aligned with brand values and commercial targets.
• Drive sales, KPIs and profitability through strong commercial trading and data‑driven decisions.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience with a focus on service excellence.
• Manage staffing, rotas and payroll within agreed budgets.
• Coach, develop and inspire the team to maximise performance and engagement.
• Analyse store performance and implement clear action plans to improve results.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect brand direction and commercial goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations including stock control, compliance and store presentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager in a fast‑paced fashion retail environment.
• Strong track record of delivering KPIs, sales growth and operational excellence.
• Hands‑on, accountable leader comfortable with full autonomy.
• Commercially astute with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Passion for fashion retail and a customer‑first mindset.
• Highly organised, resilient and able to thrive in a new‑store opening setting.
