Store Manager – Retail Operations Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a growing retail business in Wilmslow. You will be the face of the store, responsible for day‑to‑day operations, delivering excellent customer service and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards across sales, service and store presentation.
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and face‑to‑face, converting leads into reservations and move‑ins.
• Build strong relationships with personal, business and local trade customers.
• Drive store performance against revenue, conversion and satisfaction targets.
• Promote additional products and services such as packaging and insurance.
• Conduct regular site checks to ensure cleanliness, safety and security.
• Complete administration, contracts, payments and customer account management accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or supervising in a customer‑facing sales environment.
• Confident working towards sales targets and KPIs.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage a varied workload.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Positive, hands‑on attitude and willing to get involved in all store areas.
• Motivated by bonus structures and store growth.

• Basic salary of £28,000‑£30,000 per year.
• Monthly bonus typically worth £5,000‑£6,000 per year.
• Realistic total earnings of £33,000‑£36,000.
