Strategic Communications Analyst (Graduate)

About the role

The Strategic Communications practice in London is seeking a dynamic graduate analyst to support its shareholder and sustainability advisory services. You will work closely with client teams, journalists and city analysts, gaining exposure to capital‑markets communications and corporate messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily news and media for client‑relevant articles and flag insights to teams.
• Assist in day‑to‑day account management, preparing agendas, action points, monthly reports, media lists and journalist briefing notes.
• Interact directly with journalists and analysts, handling press releases, RNS uploads and results‑day logistics.
• Draft press releases, media summaries and background research on companies, sectors and issues.
• Support new‑business development by contributing to pitch decks and meeting preparation.
• Provide basic data collection and analysis for client projects.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with at least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated interest in strategic communications and capital‑markets topics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, energetic and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information.
• Proficiency in drafting clear, concise press materials.
• Familiarity with media monitoring and journalist outreach processes.
