Strategic Sourcing Buyer – Hybrid, Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to join our growing procurement function in the Bristol area. Working in a hybrid model, you will play a pivotal role in managing suppliers, driving cost reductions, and supporting new product introductions within an established engineering organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Deliver cost‑saving and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Prepare RFQs and negotiate supplier agreements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation and supplier‑management capabilities.
• Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good analytical and commercial awareness.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
