Strategy and Business Consultant

About the role

NatWest, a leading UK retail bank, is seeking Strategy and Business Consultants on a 6‑month contract to support the delivery of its revenue synergy programme following the acquisition of Evelyn Partners. The role will be based in London and operate in a hybrid model, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent challenge to workstream plans, delivery roadmaps and assumptions to maximise value creation.
• Identify, manage and escalate delivery risks, dependencies, resource constraints and decision bottlenecks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Wealth Management, Retail Banking, Finance and Transformation to drive alignment and execution.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate revenue delivery and enhance commercial outcomes.
• Support the development of business cases, KPIs, value tracking and financial benefit estimates.
• Collaborate with Finance to monitor workstream performance against financial targets and revenue commitments.
• Prepare high‑quality governance materials, executive updates and decision papers for senior leadership.
• Ensure delivery remains focused on client outcomes, commercial priorities and transition to business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business transformation, wealth‑management product leadership or comparable strategic roles.
• Proven track record working on complex, cross‑functional programmes.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with focus on measurable outcomes.
