Strategy & Commercial Associate, International
Careers at Eucalyptus · UK - HQ - London
Job description
About the role
Eucalyptus, part of Hims & Hers, is building the international arm of its consumer health platform and is growing the team behind it. The International Strategy & Commercial team owns strategic initiatives and commercial decisions across existing markets (Canada, Germany, Japan and Spain) and new country launches, and the role reports to the Head of International Strategy & Commercial. It is a small, high-ownership team that moves fast and works with high autonomy.
Key responsibilities
- Operating countries: help run the strategy and own the commercial performance of live markets, understand what drives each market's P&L, run experiments across the funnel, place data-driven bets and set joint OKRs with GMs and local teams
- Corporate development: identify new verticals and investment opportunities to unlock alternative growth pathways, with an eye on the bets needed to reach revenue targets
- Global pharma and strategic partnerships: structure and negotiate commercial deals (rebates, co-funding, demand-generation programmes), build the models behind them and own some relationships end-to-end
Required profile
- At least 4 years of experience in a high-pressure environment such as consulting (MBB preferred), investment banking or a recent high-growth startup; experience across more than one of these is highly valued
- Ability to build a commercial model from scratch, make assumptions explicit and defend them across market sizing, unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback) and deal structures
- Quick grasp of what makes a market or partnership successful, with a clear, structured point of view to support go/no-go decisions
- Real commercial negotiation experience with partners, suppliers and pharma companies
- Experience running complex cross-functional workstreams and writing investment theses and slide decks
- Owner mindset, resilience, adaptability to shifting priorities and first-principles thinking
Required skills
- Commercial and financial modelling
- Negotiation
- Project management
- SQL queries and dashboard building (nice to have)
What we offer
- Annual development budget plus 3 days of professional development leave
- Private health insurance through Vitality or a monthly wellness allowance
- 25 days of holiday, enhanced parental leave and the option to work from home 3 weeks a year
- A vibrant office culture with socials, clubs and seasonal events
