Stress Engineer - Onsite Repair Support

About the role

The Stress Engineer will support the stress analysis team on static and fatigue analysis activities for primary structural repairs on the D328-100 and D328-300 programs. The role is onsite in Germany and works directly with the DAG stress lead to organise daily tasks and follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Incorporate references to the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) into analysis work.
• Support applications of standard aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Check FEM descriptions and validation reports.
• Compile DAG structural analysis summary reports.
• Review production non‑conformities (concessions).
• Perform static and fatigue analysis of primary structures using hand calculations and FE tools.

Required profile

• Experience in stress and fatigue analysis of primary aerospace structures.
• Background in both analytical (hand‑calc) and finite‑element (FE) analysis.
• Experience with structural repairs and airframe certification.
• Immediate right to work in Germany with appropriate visas or permits.
