Student Support Assistant – Cheltenham Primary School

About the role
Join a welcoming primary school in Cheltenham as a Student Support Assistant. You will work with children in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them achieve their learning goals and feel valued in the classroom.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group assistance to students.
- Support teachers in delivering inclusive lesson plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
- Assist pupils with varying learning needs to reach their full potential.
Required profile
- Passion for supporting children’s education.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑3:30 pm.
Required skills
- Strong communication with young learners.
- Basic organisational skills for classroom support.
What we offer
- Daily rate of £90‑£105.
- Full‑time, temporary contract with immediate start.
