Sub‑contract Electrician – Clean Room Installation (18th Edition)

About the role

We are seeking a self‑employed subcontractor electrician (18th Edition) to join a clean‑room fit‑out project in the Luton/Dunstable area. The role starts immediately and involves a mix of containment, trunking and basket installation followed by more complex wiring work.

Key responsibilities

• Install containment systems, metal trunking, trays and baskets during the first five weeks of the project.
• Fit trapeze support systems and use Lindapter hardware to secure ceiling rods.
• Progress to second‑fix wiring and more complex electrical installations as the project advances.
• Read and interpret electrical and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Maintain a “right first time” approach, adhering to quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Current NVQ Level 3, ECS, AM2 and 18th Edition qualifications.
• Valid IPAF operator certificate and CSCS card.
• Own tools and a van for site travel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Available to start ASAP, preferably by 7 July.

• Pay rate of £23‑£28 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
