Sunday Supervisor

About the role

As a Sunday Supervisor you will work alongside the Shop Manager to maximise profits and raise funds for Mind’s mental health services. You will ensure the shop meets high standards of presentation, customer service and community engagement, stepping in to lead the team when the manager is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager in achieving sales targets and fundraising goals.
• Maintain excellent shop standards, including visual merchandising and cleanliness.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and promote the charity’s mission.
• Take full responsibility for shop performance on Sundays, managing sales, stock and cash handling.
• Lead, motivate and support a team of volunteers, organising rotas and delegating tasks.
• Plan and prioritise daily workload for yourself and the team.
• Contribute to a caring, inclusive environment for staff, volunteers and shoppers.

Required profile

• Passionate about retail and mental‑health causes.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop volunteers.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Organised, able to plan and prioritise workload effectively.
• Willingness to work hard, learn quickly and embody Mind’s values and behaviours.
