About the role
Join Waitrose as a Supermarket Assistant for the busy Christmas period, delivering partner‑led service and a passion for food to customers in Worthing.
Key responsibilities
- Replenish stock to keep shelves full and products correctly placed.
- Prepare online orders for delivery drivers.
- Reduce waste by managing product dates and markdowns.
- Support the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect and on‑demand orders.
- Maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
- Experience in a customer‑facing role is welcomed.
- Interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to support the whole branch.
What we offer
- Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for shifts between 22:00‑06:00.
- Partner discount – 25% at John Lewis and 20% at Waitrose after 90‑day earning period.
