About the role
Join Waitrose in Hexham for a seasonal Christmas role supporting customers and keeping the store running smoothly. You’ll deliver partner‑led service, help replenish shelves and fulfil online orders during the busy festive period.
Key responsibilities
- Replenish stock to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
- Prepare online orders for delivery and Click & Collect.
- Reduce waste by applying markdowns to items nearing their sell‑by dates.
- Support checkout, assist with on‑demand orders and maintain a tidy, safe shop environment.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing role is welcomed.
- Interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to cover varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

- Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for shifts between 22:00‑06:00.
