Supermarket Assistant

About the role

As a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose in Oundle you will deliver partner‑led service, ensuring customers enjoy a superior shopping experience. You will help keep the store running efficiently, support online order fulfilment and maintain high standards of product presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Replenish stock and keep shelves fully stocked and correctly organised.
• Prepare online orders for delivery and manage Click & Collect requests.
• Reduce waste by applying markdowns to products nearing their sell‑by dates.
• Assist with checkout, on‑demand orders and general shop‑keeping tasks.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
• Flexible approach to support the whole branch across varied shifts.
