Supplier Engagement Advisor

About the role

The Supplier Engagement Advisor will act as the main liaison between Valpak’s clients and their suppliers, ensuring accurate data submission for packaging, WEEE, batteries and Plastic Tax obligations. You will work closely with Data Administrators, Account Managers and the Data Team to support compliance across a range of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify packaging, WEEE and battery weight information from suppliers via email, phone and live chat.
• Conduct webinars and provide written guidance to help suppliers submit data correctly.
• Use in‑house software, MS Excel and CRM tools to cleanse, maintain and analyse supplier data.
• Support Account Managers in calculating regulatory submissions and flag any data anomalies for the development team.

Required profile

• Experience working with large data sets and a strong eye for accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, able to engage suppliers professionally.
• Full UK manual driving licence and minimum GCSE grade C in Maths and English.
• Interest in environmental regulations is desirable.
