Supply Chain Lead

About the role

The Supply Chain Lead will oversee and optimise supply chain operations for a fast‑growing FMCG brand in central London. The role requires a proactive individual with end‑to‑end supply chain expertise to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning function, developing and continuously improving supply, demand and inventory planning processes.
• Optimise stock availability across multiple locations, balancing product availability, working capital and inventory efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehousing, procurement and commercial teams to deliver a reliable supply chain.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation, including reporting enhancements and scalable tools.
• Establish planning standards, governance and KPIs, using data and performance insights to manage inventory and mitigate risks.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of inventory planners, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to align inventory strategies with new product introductions and business expansion.
• Provide hands‑on operational planning support during periods of increased demand or change.
• Monitor third‑party logistics performance against service levels and drive improvements.
• Develop supplier performance reporting and work with procurement to improve supplier reliability.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience within Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, or Supply Planning, with a track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams.
