Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing food distribution business to find a Supply Chain & Logistics Manager. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will lead the customer service function while coordinating warehousing, transport and order fulfilment to ensure products move smoothly from the warehouse to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the supply chain and logistics teams to deliver high service standards.
• Manage customer order processing, fulfilment and delivery performance, monitoring OTIF metrics.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, handling escalations and service issues.
• Oversee transport planning and logistics operations to achieve cost‑effective deliveries.
• Collaborate with warehouse, supply chain and procurement teams to optimise stock availability.
• Analyse service and logistics KPIs, identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage third‑party logistics providers and transport partners.
• Ensure compliance with food industry standards, health & safety and company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager or similar role.
• Background in food distribution, food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong understanding of transport, warehousing, customer service and order fulfilment processes.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Comfortable working with ERP systems and analysing operational data.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and continuous improvement.
