Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will support a pharmaceutical distributor in managing the replenishment of a defined range of manufacturers. This is a six‑month contract role, initially based in Surrey with a hybrid working model, that may be extended based on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 99%+ service levels by managing replenishment for assigned manufacturers.
• Monitor stock levels, chase late deliveries and resolve out‑of‑stock situations.
• Keep inventory lean in line with order cycles and contractual agreements.
• Process purchase orders, adjustments and product transfers.
• Support new product introductions, discontinuations and product lifecycle activities.
• Manage bespoke customer ordering processes to meet monthly deadlines.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide cover for team members and assist with ad‑hoc supply chain tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain, replenishment, FMCG, pharmaceuticals or consumer healthcare (preferred but not mandatory).
• Customer‑focused with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and basic formulas.
