Supply Chain Specialist – Bulk Piping (MEH)

About the role

Altrad is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support the Sizewell C nuclear new‑build programme. Working within the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) Alliance, you will be responsible for commercial and procurement activities across a range of services and equipment for the project.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the acquisition plan for MEH services and equipment.
• Lead the Invitation to Tender (ITT) process for a wide variety of services and equipment.
• Develop and execute procurement and long‑term contracting strategies.
• Maintain market understanding, conduct due diligence and mitigate supply‑market risks.
• Implement supplier development, quality improvement, cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement programmes.
• Set and drive performance metrics with suppliers and monitor continuous performance.
• Communicate market changes and keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• A degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience in a supply‑chain or procurement role, preferably within a highly regulated or nuclear environment.
• Ability to act as a mentor and role model, promoting effective teamwork.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
• Excellent communication and networking skills at all organisational levels.
