Supply Key Stage 2 Teacher – Leeds (Temporary)

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) teachers to provide flexible, short‑term cover for primary schools across Leeds. You will work with Year 3 to Year 6 pupils, delivering the National Curriculum while enjoying a schedule you control.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS2 subjects (Years 3‑6).
• Maintain effective classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback in line with school policies.
• Adapt teaching approaches quickly to fit different school cultures.
• Complete required administrative tasks and record keeping.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching the KS2 National Curriculum in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of core upper‑primary subjects and expectations.
• Current Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
