Supply Primary Teacher – Leeds

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary School Teachers to join its supply pool in Leeds. This temporary position offers full‑time daily assignments across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, allowing you to teach without the long‑term commitment of a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned, high‑quality lessons for the assigned year group.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement.
• Manage behaviour using effective classroom‑management techniques.
• Build quick rapport with school staff, leadership teams and students.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding policies at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Recent, proven experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
